In the final betting round, or the river, the fifth and last community card will be revealed. After this, the highest poker hand wins the pot.
One of the most important skills to learn in poker is bet sizing. It is an art that requires taking into account many factors including previous action, stack depth and pot odds. Choosing the right bet size can make or break your winning potential. A bet that is too high will scare off other players, while a bet that is too small may not get you the calls you need.
